Valid for rigid walls made of brick, concrete, blocks, etc., with a density ≥450 Kg/m3 and thicknesses ≥100 mm.
Valid for light partitions made of plates with a thickness of ≥100 mm.

A minimum distance of 100 mm between different gratings must be maintained. (See Detail A) and 70 mm between the grille and floor or ceiling.

The substrate must be clean and free of dust and grease. The application temperature must be between 5 ºC and 40 ºC If the relative humidity exceeds 65%, it may lead to a longer drying time for the PROMASEAL-A or PROMASEAL-AG putty.

Installation procedure:
• Attach the PROMASTOP-IM Grille to the desired installation method (See Table 1). To achieve the square shape, the arrows (Detail B) must all point in the same direction.
• If necessary, expand or create the necessary opening in the wall, max. 10mm wider than formed grating.
• Clean the opening.
• Place the grate centered in the hole and secure it with shims around it.
• Seal the resulting perimeter joint with PROMASEAL-A or PROMASEAL-AG acrylic putty on both sides of the wall. The joint must have a width of between 2 and 5 mm and a depth greater than 10 mm.

At approximately 190ºC, it creates a sealing foam that closes the ventilation gap, ensuring the ability to prevent the passage of flames and heat and thus preventing the spread of fire.
