FUTUR-PRIMER EPOX

MULTI-PURPOSE EPOXY PRIMER, SELF-LEVELING AND MORTAR BINDER

Epoxy combination with aliphatic amine-based hardener, indicated as an epoxy primer and binder for 100% solid synthetic mortars, as a self-leveling, fluid or dry mortar.

• 100% solids.
• Good penetration and adhesion.
• Low viscosity. Good handling.
• Recommended for interiors.
• Multipurpose product: Primer, self-leveling, regulating mortar, dry mortar, applications in rough paints.

Before applying the product, check that the support is clean and free of traces of oil, grease, silicone, contaminating waxes or soil materials. If repair is needed, apply appropriate repair mortars.
It is necessary to start from a porous concrete support, without grout and free of curing liquids. Minimum compressive strength of concrete: 15 N/mm2. Minimum tensile strength of concrete: 1 N/mm2.
If in doubt, carry out a test before application.
Before applying, confirm that the temperature and humidity requirements are as required. The support must have a maximum residual humidity. 4%. It is important to control the dew point to prevent condensation from occurring and avoid whitish areas on the coating.
Mix the two components with the help of a low-speed electric stirrer.
(300-400 rpm). Mix component A in its container with component B for 2-3 minutes until you obtain a homogeneous product. Mixing ratio: 75 parts of component A for every 25 parts of component B.
Pot-Life time of the mixture: 30 minutes (25 ºC, 55% RH).
Apply with a brush, brush or metal or rubber extenders.

Yield: 250-400 g/m2
Mortar binder: 200 g/m2 and mm thickness (aggregate 1/6 to 1/9)
Pot-Life: 30 minutes (+20 ºC, 55% RH)
Touch dry: 6-8 hours
Light traffic: 2 days
Pedestrian traffic: 24 hours
Repainting: 8-24 hours without sanding. Do not repaint after 48 hours.
Total curing: 7 days

To obtain Self-leveling mortar, use 1 part of product for every 0.5 parts of quartz sand of 0.1 to 0.3 mm with a yield of 1-5 mm thickness for repair.

Repair or screed mortar, use 1 part by weight of the product for every 6 to 9 parts by weight of dry, selected quartz sand of the following composition: 1/3 part of sand with a grain size of 0.2-0.4 mm, 2/ 3 parts of quartz sand 0.7-1.2mm.
The mortar must be manufactured in a planetary mixer.
The aggregate must be added first in the smallest granulometry and then FUTURPRIMER EPOX once its two components have been mixed.
In any case, the product must be protected from moisture, especially rain during the hardening process (10-12 hours). This humidity can produce a whitened color that must be eliminated when applying subsequent layers, as it would impair adhesion.
Once the container is opened, we recommend its complete consumption.
Stable for 12 months from its manufacturing date, in its original, well-closed and undamaged container. Store in a dry and cool place at temperatures between +5ºC and +25ºC.
To clean materials and utensils, use FUTURSOLVENT-001 before the product hardens. Once the product has hardened it can only be removed by mechanical means.

• Very useful in all types of construction companies, quick repair contracts, general masonry, community maintenance, building repair and restoration, etc.
For application in epoxy primers, support regularization primer, with the addition of sand, for the production of multilayer systems or subsequent application of epoxy or polyurethane systems indoors, binder for the manufacture of synthetic mortars loaded with quartz sand for repair, filling and self-leveling mortar.
Supported media:
• Concrete, cement mortar.
• For other supports, carry out tests to verify their adhesion.
• For particularities or special support conditions, consult the Department
Technical.
